Myrna F. Malak, MSN, RN, CCRN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in cardiovascular disease at Christiana Care Health System. Ms. Malak joined Christiana Hospitals Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) as a registered nurse in 2014 after training as a student nurse extern with the 5E Heart Failure Unit and completing the Critical Care Nurse Residency Program, which included caring for patients in the Transitional Surgical Unit, Neurological Critical Care Complex, and MICU. She has served as a member of the Rapid Response Team, MICU Alert Emergency Department Team, MICU Pain and Palliative Committee and as facilitator for a MICU infection prevention initiative.
