I worked in healthcare even before going to medical school. I've been a pharmacy tech and a nurse aide at a Michigan hospital. \n My philosophy on patient care is to create a relationship where every patient feels heard and understands what is going on with their cardiac health. \n I have a special interest in Women's Health and more specifically cardiac care for pregnant patients. \n I'm certified by the American Red Cross in both basic and advanced cardiac life support and am a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Medical Association. \n In my free time, you can find me enjoying all kinds of exercise, including running, hiking and horseback riding; traveling; and spending time with my husband and trusted canine companions - Hazel and Millie, Brittany spaniels.
