  • Mark W. Morgan

    MD, FACS

    Dr. Morgan completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He went on to attend medical school at Wake Forest University and returned to University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his plastic surgery residency. After residency, he went on to complete a fellowship in hand surgery as well as microsurgery training and finally completed an Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Although he is currently in private practice at Wilmington Plastic Surgery in Wilmington North Carolina, he remains active academically. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Adjunct Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. This has afforded him the opportunity to remain on the cutting edge of current advances in plastic surgery. His special interests include cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, body contouring, facial aesthetics procedures and hand surgery. Dr. Morgan has served as a consultant, trainer, and speaker for several leading aesthetic drug and device companies. In recognition of his extensive accomplishments, the Consumers’ Research Council of America has named Dr. Morgan in its Guide to America’s Top Surgeons in 2011, 2012, and 2013.

  • Adam D. Glener

    MD

    Dr. Glener was raised in coastal Florida and attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate studies. He then completed his graduate medical education at Duke University where he was admitted to Alpha-Omega-Alpha, a selective honor society. Dr. Glener continued at Duke University to complete his Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency, during which he was formally recognized for both teaching and academic achievements. Following completion of his training, Dr. Glener went on to complete a prominent Fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where he gained experience in cutting-edge breast, face, and body aesthetics. Dr. Glener and his wife, who is from North Carolina, are excited to return to the state where they met. Dr. Glener enjoys exercise, sailing, hiking, cooking, and spending time with his dog, Stella.

  • Alex Smith

    MD

    Dr. Smith was born and raised in Wilmington, NC, until he attended UNC Chapel Hill for his undergraduate studies. He then married his high school sweetheart, Sarah, and they moved to Oklahoma City, OK, for his medical school training at Oklahoma University. Following this, he and his wife moved back to Wilmington, where he received excellent general surgery training at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Upon completion of this residency, he received comprehensive plastic surgery training at Indiana University in Indianapolis. He held leadership positions in both residency and fellowship by acting as the administrative chief of his fellow trainees. Dr. Smith’s parents and brother still live in Wilmington, and his sister lives a short drive away with her family in Raleigh. His wife, Sarah, is also from North Carolina, and her family has lived in Wilmington since 2005. He and Sarah are thrilled to return to the city they call home and be closer to loved ones and long-time friends. Dr. Smith loves spending time with his family, including his wonderful daughters, Aubrey and Caroline. He enjoys the outdoors, surfing, playing sports, and watching movies.
